Tao Yuen Pastry - Oakland. $15 can go a long way here! Bring cash. You know, the green paper stuff.
Bakesale Betty - Oakland, SF (Chase Center). Best fried chicken sandwich you’ll ever eat.
Little Lucca - South SF, Burlingame. Most items are under $15 to start! Worth it either way, these sandwiches are huge.
Marugame Udon - Various Bay Area + SoCal, Hawaii, and Washington locations. Solid feel good meal for around $15. You can go over with Tempura, other additions or if you go Large, but the main bowls are mostly under $15.
La Taqueria - SF. Don’t hate me, hate inflation. The super burrito is $15.95 now, but still get a Mission-style super burrito and thank me later. Classic meal.
Italian Homemade Company - SF, Berkeley, LA, Chicago. Can go over $15 depending on what you order, but definitely have to try it at least once.
Tacos El Patron - Pleasant Hill and SF. Two quesabirria tacos w/ some consumme is all you need.
El Farolito - SF, South SF, Oakland, Concord, and North Bay locations. Used to be a college favorite at SF State. Late-night burritos always hit.
Kibi’s Cafe - Walnut Creek, Orinda, Danville. Best Banh Mi’s east of the Caldecott Tunnel. Trust.
Troy - Martinez, Alameda, Berkeley. Try their Gyros or Chicken Shawarma wraps. If you can take a little heat, their hot sauces are unreal and a big reason why Troy is so good imo.
